Trade Stands

Dear Stall Holder,
               The 2008 White Horse Show 24th and 25th August
The White Horse Show is situated just outside Uffington, Oxfordshire, in a unique
rural location. It is within easy reach of historic sights such as The White Horse,
 Waylands Smithy, The Blowing Stone, Tom Brown's Museum and Uffington Hill
Fort.
What you can hire                                                         .
The craft stands are either inside the marquees, or outside on the show ground. Outside stands are approximately 4m wide and 7m or 10m deep and do not include tables. The inside stalls are arranged around the edge of the marquee and in the centre. Each stall has two 6ft by 2ft tables. Electricity is available if requested (see booking form). Our arrangements with the fair ground and caterers preclude trade and craft stands from competing with them. If you think that this might be the case, please call me to clarify the point and prevent any difficulties during the Show.For each booked stand, appropriate passes and other documentation will be mailed to you by the end of June 2008. They include, access to the show ground for one car or van a driver and one passenger. If you require more assistance on your stand, then extra entry tickets must be purchased (see booking form), these are available at a concessionary price of £5.00 each.
Parking and camping                                            .
There is adequate parking in the Exhibitor's car Park. This area is restricted to exhibitors only. Outside exhibitors may park and camp within their own stands. Anyone bringing large vehicles (caravans/box vans etc), may need to book a double stand. Inside stall holders may camp on site by arrangement.

Please note that there will be a Pony Gymkhana taking place on Saturday the 23rd August, and although there will not be paying public on the showground, we expect a number of visitors to attend in support of the children taking part. If you wish, you will be welcome to set up and open your stand at no extra charge.
