Visitor Info and Safety

Please remember the Showground is on farmland. The ground is not level – there may be rabbit holes, dips, bumps and ruts. We use traditional marquees, tents and gazebos so please look out for guy ropes and anchor pegs. Please take care when walking around.

Vehicles

Movement of vehicles during Show opening hours is strictly controlled. Emergency vehicles may need to transit the Showground. Please keep this in mind and take care.

Animals

After handling animals please WASH YOUR HANDS at the toilet facilities.

Lost Children

Lost children should be brought to the Control Area by the Main Arena.

Show visitors can get cash from the  entrance ticket booths with a credit or debit card. A hand stamp allows your return entry.

Litter

Please help to keep the showground clean and tidy by putting all your litter in the litter bins provided on the Showground and in the car parks.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome on the Showground. Please be sure to clear up after your dog. If you do leave your dog in your car, ensure that it has sufficient air and does not get too hot, dehydrated or distressed.
